Join Laredo Physicians Group and Doctors Hospital of Laredo as a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon in Laredo, Texas. This hospital-employed position embeds you into an established, high-volume surgical program with shared call among experienced surgeons and highly competitive compensation, allowing you to focus on delivering quality surgical care in a state-of-the-art facility supported by Universal Health Services.

Quick Facts

Schedule / Hours: Full-time
Call: Shared call among community orthopods
Patient Volume: High-demand area with a growing patient base
Location: Laredo, Texas (America's largest inland port city)
Practice Setting: 183-bed acute care facility with da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and state-of-the-art operating rooms
EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

Comprehensive Care: Deliver advanced orthopedic services to a diverse, multicultural border community population.
Surgical Collaboration: Work closely alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons and a dedicated support team.
Volume Management: Navigate a high-volume, collaborative practice environment with a quality-focused care approach.
Digital Workflows: Document all patient care efficiently using the integrated Cerner EMR system.
Shared Call: Participate in an equitable, team-coordinated shared call rotation schedule

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Competitive salary base salary plus wRVU bonus

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in orthopedic surgery
Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain Texas licensure
Spanish language skills a plus not required
