Commercial Truck Sales Consultant

Chevrolet & Isuzu Commercial Trucks

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Commercial Truck Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This position focuses on selling Chevrolet and Isuzu commercial trucks while developing long-term relationships with business owners, fleet managers, and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchasing process. Success in this role requires strong networking skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Development

Sell Chevrolet and Isuzu commercial trucks to businesses and fleet customers.
Assist customers in identifying the right vehicles and upfit solutions to meet their operational needs.
Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial consultation to vehicle delivery.
Prepare and present vehicle proposals, quotes, and financing options.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial customers.
Conduct regular follow-up with current clients to identify future vehicle replacement and expansion opportunities.
Serve as a trusted advisor for businesses seeking transportation and fleet solutions.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale.

Business Development & Lead Generation

Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community involvement.
Attend industry events, trade shows, chamber of commerce meetings, and networking functions.
Identify and target businesses that can benefit from commercial truck solutions.
Develop strategic partnerships within the local business community.

Account Management

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
Manage a pipeline of prospects and actively work opportunities through the sales cycle.
Coordinate with finance, service, and upfit departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Stay informed on Chevrolet and Isuzu product offerings, incentives, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Previous sales experience preferred, automotive or commercial sales experience is a plus.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
Professional networking and business development experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications.
