Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Commissions Specialist to join a growing insurance organization. This contract opportunity is well suited for an entry-level candidate or someone early in their career who is eager to build hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-volume environment. In this role, you will support revenue-related operations by managing commission documentation, maintaining organized records, and working closely with team members to ensure information is handled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Retrieve commission statements from internal platforms and spreadsheet-based sources, then save and organize files across designated digital folders.
Use email tools efficiently, including creating and maintaining inbox rules to help manage incoming documents and communications.
Keep commission-related records accurate, accessible, and properly filed to support ongoing accounting and revenue analysis activities.
Communicate completed work clearly to team members and provide updates on document status, issues, or follow-up needs.
Participate in hands-on training and job shadowing during the onboarding period to learn team processes and daily workflows.
Assist Revenue Analysts by gathering the commission documentation needed for revenue tracking and reporting.
Manage changing access details and login information in an organized manner to ensure uninterrupted access to required systems.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and support a fast-paced workload with consistent attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files, credentials, and multiple tasks accurately.
Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and status reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook in a work setting.
Comfortable performing data entry, reviewing documents, and handling repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated willingness to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities on the job.
