This position will be used for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. Applicant list may be screened more than once.
Why does the job exist?

Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating quality and performance management and incident management functions within the Standards and Compliance division including compliance assessments, performance reports, prevention activities, policy review/development, database management, training and tracking of corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements. Assist with the facility Incident Management system including training on proper incident response, notification and documenting reporting, incident report collection, incident review, incident entry into a database for assessment for appropriate follow up action to help prevent recurrence. Facilitate compliance with state licensing and certification, accreditation and other external surveys.
How does it get done?

The Compliance and Data Analyst supports the facility-wide quality, safety and regulatory readiness by coordinating performance management activities, conducting compliance assessments and tracking corrective actions. This role manages data systems, monitors key performance indicators and evaluates adherence to federal, state and accreditation requirements. This position provides analytical support for incident review, root cause analysis, mock surveys and policy reviews while collaborating closely with clinical, administrative and operational teams. Will participate in facility committees, prepares performance and compliance reports and helps sustain continuous improvement and survey readiness across campus. This roles requires strong communication skills, the ability to think analytically and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience in investigations, regulation, policy, statutory, and/or contract compliance. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience
Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid NM Drivers License.

Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.
Working Conditions

Position will perform work primarily in an office setting with extensive computer and phone usage and exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal. Lifting up to thirty (30) pounds may be required. Effective 1/1/2015, the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute became a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus. As such, no tobacco products or E-cigarette products are permitted on any part of the campus. Department is located at Standards and Compliance, Yucca building.
