Medical Front Office – Cross-Trained Specialist

Join our team and help us provide exceptional care to mothers and babies in the Las Vegas community. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Front Office Cross-Trained Specialist to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across all functions of our front office to assist our patients during high-risk pregnancies, collaborating closely with our physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Rotation between all 4 practice locations required)

Job Type: Full-time, In-office

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Greet patients, provide intake paperwork, verify demographic/insurance information, and update scheduling systems.
Payment Collection: Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances daily, and accurately balance tender.
Scheduling & Communication: Schedule new and follow-up appointments, conduct appointment reminder calls, and manage missed appointment follow-ups.
Insurance & Authorizations: Verify insurance benefits, process procedure authorizations, and request medical records.
Office Coordination: Answer incoming calls, route messages appropriately, and keep the waiting area neat and professional.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office environment required.
Insurance Knowledge: Minimum 1 year of experience handling insurance benefits and authorizations required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Intergy/Greenway and basic office software (Excel, Word).
Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills for payment handling.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to walk, bend, stretch, sit, and stand for extended periods.
Travel: Reliable transportation as travel between four offices is required.
