Full Job Description

As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), you'll provide guidance to managers and employees, coordinate services with and for developmentally disabled adults living in homes supported by Pinnacle Community Services. The QIDP must communicate effectively with all employees particularly the Program Director and Program Managers. The QIDP focuses on the service plans and progress for individuals in our care. The QIDP authors plan and train staff and managers collaboratively with the supported person.

Works closely with Pinnacle employees and the rest of the support team including but not limited to Desert Regional Center employees, families, guardians and other interested parties. This position will report to the Residential Director and will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Attend Person Centered Plan (PCP) meetings and work closely with the team to develop plans.
Coordinates development of each person(s) served personal futures plan and coordinates scheduling of team meetings (times, dates, locations, etc.) and informs all team members of such.
Attends HRC/BIC meetings.
Prepares Quarterly reports.
Prepares documents used in billing process.
Participates in all environmental reviews and quality assurance audits.
Monitors to ensure all service sites deliver services in accordance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements and implements/coordinates any necessary plans of correction from a regulatory body.
Monitor and update clients' files in the home and make sure all paperwork is current.
Creates, monitors and supervises the implementation of service plans and training of staff.
Ensures all written training programs are implemented and revised as needed.
Coaches and mentors support staff and attends and participates in announced meetings
Other duties as assigned by residential director

We are looking for experienced case managers and leaders who embrace those ideals and love bringing joy to others. This is a fast-paced position that requires organization and the ability to problem-solve.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in human services or related field from an accredited university/college, (Sociology, Social Services, Psychology, etc.).
One-year previous supervisory experience preferred.
One year of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals required.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities.
Must have valid Nevada driver license.
Supervisory, quality assurance, and employee training experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities.

A current resume and proof of educational background (photo of diploma and transcripts) are required to be submitted with this application. This posted position requires the ability to drive personal and company vehicles. People receiving support are transported by trained employees in company vehicles. All Pinnacle Community Services drivers must have a current Nevada DL that meets our safety standards.
