The Mission

As a Mission Development Specialist, you will evaluate operational training requirements, analyze adversary air-defense capabilities, and develop practical solutions that improve the realism and effectiveness of training conducted on the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) and other Department of Defense test and training ranges.
You will work as part of a small, mission-focused team that integrates intelligence analysis, operational planning, radar technology, electronic warfare, and range operations. The role offers meaningful customer interaction and the opportunity to shape how advanced threat systems and training aids are employed in a variety of test and training scenarios.

Responsibilities include:
- Conduct operational research and intelligence analysis in support of advanced threat replication on the NTTR and other U.S. Government ranges.
- Assess threat emitters, radar systems, training aids, and range capabilities to identify operational gaps and opportunities to improve training realism.
- Develop employment concepts, optimization plans, and data-driven recommendations for the use of threat systems and training assets.
- Research adversary ground-based air defense, integrated air defense systems, radar capabilities, electronic warfare concepts, and operational employment tactics using classified and open-source information.
- Prepare analytical products, technical reports, acquisition recommendations, briefings, and decision-support materials for government and company stakeholders.
- Support the development of proposals for additional systems and capabilities that can asymmetrically enhance threat replication and mission effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, technicians, intelligence professionals, range personnel, and other contractors to integrate operational, technical, and academic perspectives.
- Develop and present mission-focused training and academic material for technical and operational audiences.
- Build a working understanding of CEA radar capabilities and support the operational application of advanced waveforms, techniques, and system concepts.
- Serve as a primary integrator between CEA Technologies Inc. and supported U.S. Government and military organizations.
- Coordinate and support temporary duty assignments and deployments to U.S. ranges for interagency cooperation, mission execution, and organizational knowledge development.
- Provide clear progress reporting to the assigned project lead and company leadership.
- Comply with all safety, security, export-control, and information-technology policies while working in office, field, indoor, and outdoor environments.
- Maintain a professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach to mission support.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of company and customer priorities.

Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active TS/SCI with eligibility for special access programs (SAP)
- At least three years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence, operations research, mission analysis, operational planning, or closely-related defense role.
- Formal training or demonstrated knowledge in radar theory and fundamentals.
- Formal training or demonstrated knowledge in electronic warfare theory and fundamentals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and operational concepts to audiences with varied backgrounds.
- Ability to perform effectively in a rapidly-changing environment with shifting mission priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate across multidisciplinary teams that may include engineers, operators, technicians, intelligence personnel, government customers, and contractor partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Tonopah, Nevada, and other U.S. range locations and to work in remote, indoor and outdoor environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing foreign ground-based air defense systems, integrated air defense systems, radar systems, or electronic warfare capabilities.
- Formal qualification as an intelligence professional or completion of a related military or civilian career-development program.
- Experience supporting the NTTR, Nellis AFB, DoD test and training ranges, operational test organizations, or advanced military training events.
- Experience developing intelligence assessments, operational concepts, threat-replication plans, capability-development recommendations, or acquisition proposals.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, operations research, engineering, national security, military studies, or a related field.
