LVMGP General Manager

We’re looking for an energy source, someone who can set the tone for an entire location. One of those rare General Managers who can get people excited about making sure “every guest leaves safe & happy.” As a GM at Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, you’ll make amazing things happen for guests and employees alike. As the trusted senior leader at the location who demonstrates integrity & ethics, we will make it worth your while.

The General Manager works closely with Assistant General Managers and department leaders to oversee all aspects of site operations of entire facility, including staffing, training, employee relations, repair and maintenance, game operations, site IT, cleanliness, organization, service timing, quality product, cash handling and site administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fully accountable for all aspects of P&L, including achieving annual revenue, profit, cost control and inventory control
Accountable to maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor and cash control
Ensure that you and your team provide 5 star service to all guests all of the time
Work closely with department Managers to oversee operations and facility
Continuously promote safety and sanitation
Responsible to take proactive approach to guest relations, put in time spent on floor interacting with guests
Ensure the highest level of quality and standards
Ultimately responsible for all aspects of guest relations and the quality of experience delivered to the guest, i.e. product, timing, service, entertainment, excitement, etc.
Empower management and staff to deliver exceptional service
Responsible for the on-going development of all site managers and for the development of Management-in-Training
Assure leadership and staff morale is maintained at a high level
Responsible to provide direct and honest feedback to staff regarding individual performance
Establishes operational guidelines for the recruitment and retention of staff
Collaborate with sales in-order to help book and deliver parties and special events.
Represents the LVMGP image at all company and community events (local businesses, organizations and media).

Required Qualifications:

Eligible to work in the United States
At least 21 years of age
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Basic understanding of Marketing and Finance
The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
Work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends

Preferred Experience:

Three years of General Management experience in high volume environment
Three years of complete P&L experience in a branded food and entertainment business
Financial analysis and assessment skills
Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff and management
Strong knowledge of cost controls
Strong training and development background

Essential Job Functions and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift
In addition to the essential job responsibilities stated above, the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and Team members, are essential functions of the job.
The work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise, as well as exposure to weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
