Job Summary and Qualifications

The Patient Transporter functions under the supervision of a first-line supervisor and performs delegated functions. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

You will transport patients from the patient room to the appropriate area by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed
You will provide specialty beds as needed throughout the facility
You will transport laboratory specimens for pre-admit testing
You will transport crash carts to the pharmacy for restocking; assists the pharmacy in delivering medication during tube system downtime
You will provide courier/mailroom support as needed; and exchange empty O2 tanks throughout the facility with full tanks daily
Responsible for timely delivery and communication of delivery of remote telemetry boxes to clinical staff and monitor technicians
Must be able to demonstrate iPad and iPhone competency within 30 days of hire

What qualifications you will need:

High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Previous orderly or transporter experience preferred
Will consider training candidate
