Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Albany is looking for a motivated Garage Door Installer to join our growing team. Whether you have experience installing garage doors, working in construction, carpentry, mechanical repair, or another skilled trade, we provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

As a Garage Door Installer, you'll install residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components while providing an exceptional customer experience. Every day brings new projects, new customers, and the opportunity to solve unique challenges.

Your responsibilities include:

Install residential garage doors, openers, and related components
Perform quality workmanship while following company installation standards
Conduct safety inspections and identify mechanical or operational concerns
Review work orders and prepare materials before each job
Safely operate company vehicles and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory
Maintain clean, organized job sites
Educate homeowners on the operation and maintenance of their new garage door system
Complete documentation using ServiceTitan and other company systems
Participate in ongoing safety meetings and technical training
Assist with warehouse organization and other operational responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and enjoys providing outstanding customer service.

Preferred qualifications include:

High school diploma or GED
Experience installing garage doors, construction, carpentry, mechanical repair, or related skilled trades
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment
Ability to lift and move heavy materials with assistance when required
