Interior Finisher / Painter – $25–$35/hr
Talarico Construction, an award-winning builder and remodeler, is looking to hire two additional Interior Finishers / Painters to join our growing team.
We are expanding our in-house team and looking for two skilled, dependable people who are extremely detail-oriented, take pride in their craftsmanship, and can handle work from drywall installation and finishing through final paint and touch-ups.
This is a full-time, year-round career opportunity, not temporary or seasonal work. We are looking for people who want to grow with our company long-term.
Pay
$25–$35 per hour, based on experience and skill.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install and repair drywall
- Hang drywall on walls and ceilings
- Mud and tape drywall
- Finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface
- Patch and blend existing drywall
- Sanding and detailed surface preparation
- Caulking and filling nail holes
- Prime and paint walls and ceilings
- Paint doors, casing, baseboard, crown molding, and other trim
- Brush, roll, and spray applications
- Prep and finish cabinetry and built-ins
- Complete detailed touch-ups and punch-list work
- Identify imperfections and correct them before final completion
- Protect finished floors, cabinetry, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work alongside our carpenters and other trades on high-end residential remodeling and custom home projects
What We’re Looking For
Attention to detail is extremely important for this position.
We need people who notice the small things and take pride in leaving behind a clean, professional finished product.
- Experience installing and repairing drywall
- Must be able to mud and tape drywall
- Interior painting and finishing experience
- Strong prep and finish skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Clean and organized
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and shows up consistently
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable car or truck required
- Must be able to travel to job sites throughout the Capital Region
