Director of Customer Experience

Location: Manteca, CA

Reports to: VP of Operations

Exempt role: $120,000 - $150,000 total compensation (base and bonus opportunities)

Job Summary

The Director of Customer Experience is a high-impact leadership role responsible for consolidating and streamlining fragmented operations across Customer Service, Fleet & Logistics, and Finance (AP/AR). Your mission is to eliminate silos, standardize workflows, and implement scalable technology to drive enterprise-wide efficiency and cost savings. Nevergreen Pools is a premier pool service and repair company dedicated to keeping our customers' pools pristine and their equipment running smoothly. We pride ourselves on top-tier service, rapid response times, and a highly skilled team of field technicians and operations managers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Strategy & Integration

Design and execute a roadmap to centralize administrative and operational functions across multiple branches or departments.

Standardize SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure a "one company" approach to service and logistics.

Identify and eliminate redundant processes to reduce overhead and improve speed-to-market.

2. Fleet & Logistics Oversight

Partner with the Fleet Manager to optimize route planning, fuel management, and vehicle procurement.

Centralize logistics data to improve tracking, delivery times, and maintenance scheduling.

Leverage telematics and logistics software to provide real-time visibility into the supply chain.

3. Financial Systems (AP/AR) Management

Transition distributed billing and payment functions into a centralized Shared Services model.

Oversee the accuracy of Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring streamlined cash flow and vendor management.

Implement automated invoicing and collections tools to reduce manual errors and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

4. Customer Experience Excellence

Unify customer service touchpoints into a centralized hub to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Utilize CRM data to identify trends and improve the overall customer lifecycle.

Establish KPIs for response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction.

5. Technology & Change Management

Lead the "people" side of change, mentoring staff through transitions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 7–10+ years in operations management, ideally with experience in "Shared Services" or departmental centralization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), CRM software, and advanced data analytics.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse teams across logistics, finance, and service sectors.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a rigorous eye for process detail.
Background check which includes clean MVR
This is a full-time, in-office position. This position will required to travel within CA & AZ 20% of the time.
