EXECUTIVE CHEF

Location: Grace Stone Mansion, Scottdale, PA

The Role: Join the launch of our exciting new supper club at Grace Stone Mansion! We are building our dream team from the ground up to offer a sophisticated dining experience featuring shareable plates, seasonal excellence, and a lively atmosphere perfect for unforgettable nights.

We are seeking a culinary visionary to lead our kitchen team. We are looking for a chef who combines high-level technical skill with the adaptability required to thrive in an intimate, high-end environment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our kitchen operations—from menu development and food cost management to team leadership and rigorous quality control.

Required Compliance & Documentation:

Certifications: Candidates must possess and maintain current, valid Pennsylvania-recognized certifications, including ServSafe Manager and RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program). Please be prepared to provide copies of these certifications upon application.
Background & Verification: As this is a position of trust requiring independent operation, we require a clean criminal background check and verifiable professional references from your most recent employers.
Integrity: Please be prepared to provide these documents and references immediately upon request as part of our standard hiring process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Culinary Excellence: Developing and executing a menu that aligns with the high-end, curated brand of Grace Stone Mansion.
Kitchen Management: Taking full ownership of food costs, inventory management, and kitchen safety. You are expected to manage the kitchen with fiscal responsibility and operational precision.
Team Leadership: Hiring, mentoring, and leading a high-performing kitchen team in partnership with HR and Recruiting Lead, General Manager and Owner. You are a hands-on coach who works alongside your team to ensure consistency during every service.
Collaborative Partnership: Working directly with our General Manager and Ownership to ensure the culinary experience consistently meets our brand standards.

Who You Are:

Technically Sound: You possess extensive experience in professional kitchen management and have a proven track record of maintaining high margins and even higher quality.
Composed Under Pressure: You excel at managing the fast-paced nature of a boutique restaurant and remain calm when the owner requests adjustments or creative shifts to the service.
Proactive & Organized: You do not wait to be told how to run your kitchen; you bring systems, structure, and order to your environment from Day 1.
Hands-On Mentor: You believe in leading by example, training your staff to execute to your standards, and keeping your station and the overall kitchen to the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
