Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will help oversee daily front desk operations, manage guest relations, and coordinate with various hotel departments to maintain smooth and efficient service. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, ensuring all guests receive top-tier hospitality from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality management, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise front desk staff with assistance from Manager, provide training, guidance, and support to uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism
Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes using property management systems
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly with a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Manage reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, including modifications and cancellations
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues swiftly
Conduct daily or evening night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing procedures
Maintain comprehensive records of guest interactions, incidents, and operational reports for accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of computers
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively under pressure
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times
Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems for efficient client communication
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment
Prior experience in night audit procedures and handling complex guest relations scenarios is an advantage
