Job Description

We are seeking a self-starting, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who excels in relationship-building, sales, and marketing.
This position offers an exciting and rewarding career in nonprofit management with a focus on community impact.
As a District Executive, you will manage Scouting operations in an assigned district within South Mississippi.
This role emphasizes fundraising, membership growth, and volunteer engagement. If you're energetic, personable, goal-driven, and believe in service, quality, and building meaningful relationships, this is the career for you.

Key Responsibilities

Grow and support Scouting in your assigned district.
Develop and execute plans in finance, membership, and volunteer recruitment.
Build relationships with community and business leaders.
Collaborate with volunteers to deliver a quality Scouting program.
Manage fundraising campaigns and special events.

Starting Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: $50,000 (includes base salary + monthly car/phone allowance)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
U.S. citizenship or intent to become a citizen
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office\
Willingness to relocate within the council’s service area
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Able to engage effectively with community leaders, volunteers, and families
Commitment to the values and mission of Scouting
Must pass a criminal background check and be eligible to receive a Scouting commission
Experience in nonprofit work, fundraising, sales, or marketing is a plus
