Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our vibrant Korean BBQ restaurant. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, from staff leadership and food quality to customer satisfaction and financial performance. Your enthusiasm for culinary excellence and team development will inspire your staff and elevate our brand to new heights.

Duties

Lead and manage all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and adherence to company standards.
Maintain high-quality offerings and compliance with health regulations.
Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock management using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to optimize costs and minimize waste.
Handle cash management, including cash handling procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting like profit and loss analysis.
Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective team training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
Manage shift operations efficiently by supervising team members, ensuring excellent customer service, and resolving any issues promptly.
Implement food safety standards, sanitation practices, and ensure compliance with all local health regulations.
Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled hospitality team capable of delivering outstanding service.
Drive sales growth through innovative marketing initiatives, customer engagement strategies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Oversee kitchen management including food production processes, catering services, banquet events, and special promotions such as bar or coffee service.

Experience

Proven management experience in a high end Korean BBQ restaurant.
Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams with strong team management skills; experience in training & development is essential.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Peblla POS for order processing and sales tracking.
of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, inventory control practices, and cost management strategies.
Previous experience in fine dining settings with exposure to managing large teams during busy shifts.
Ability to analyze financial data including budgeting, profit & loss statements, and sales reports to drive operational improvements.
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff, handle customer concerns effectively, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Must be technically savvy and able to learn POS system immediately.
Working experience speaking Korean, is a plus.
