Full Job Description

Capital Fund I, a leader in the real estate financing industry, specializes in providing short-term, asset-based debt on investment real estate across various states, including Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

With a track record of over $6 billion in hard/private money loans since 2009, Capital Fund I offers competitive bridge, acquisition, and construction loan programs for land, residential, and commercial real estate investments. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are focused on building a strong, experienced accounting team that will enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of our financial operations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The role will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments to vendors, acting as a liaison between cross-functional departments and vendors to address payable-related activities in accordance with established company guidelines and manage vendor relationships and overall operational efficiencies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process high-volume invoices cycle from receipt through payment using QuickBooks Online

· Execute vendor payment runs in alignment with established payment terms, while managing cash flow considerations and maintaining positive vendor relationships

· Ensure all invoices are entered accurately and paid per vendor-negotiated terms

· Review and verify invoice details including receipts, GL coding and adherence to approval workflows

· Maintain and update vendor master data; build and sustain strong vendor relationships

· Perform month-end AP processes including aging reviews and reconciliations

· Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies

· Assist the Controller with month-end close activities and ad-hoc projects

· Provide general accounting support and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience in a similar role

· Experience processing high-volume invoices in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize daily duties appropriately
Some experience with vendor account reconciliations preferred
Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

· Experience with QuickBooks Online

· Automation experience a plus.

· Experience with payment terms and cash flow management

· Familiarity with hard/private money lending structures and real estate development.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
