Personal Injury Paralegel Bilingual English/Spanish Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (English/Spanish) Paralegal to join our legal team in Duluth, Georgia. This direct hire position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to support a diverse range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and administrative skills, exhibit exceptional organizational abilities, and demonstrate proficiency in handling confidential information with integrity. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes and providing outstanding support to attorneys and clients alike.

Key responsibilities include managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, assisting with client interviews, and utilizing various legal support systems to streamline workflow. The successful candidate will be proactive in project management tasks and adept at handling multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys with estate planning, family law, civil litigation, and other legal practice areas by preparing documents, filings, and correspondence.
Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to assist case preparation.
Manage case files within document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are organized and up-to-date.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, and client correspondence with precision.
Assist with client interviews by providing bilingual support (English/Spanish), gathering relevant information accurately.
Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to privacy protocols.
Coordinate with clients, courts, and external agencies to facilitate case progress and ensure timely filings.
Support project management tasks across multiple practice areas such as landlord-tenant law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury cases, securities law, and procedural law.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for document creation and data entry; proofread all materials for clarity and accuracy.
Maintain effective communication with team members through phone etiquette and organizational skills.
Assist in preparing for hearings or meetings by reviewing case documents and ensuring all materials are complete.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative workflows within the firm.

Skills

Proven paralegal experience supporting diverse legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, civil litigation, patent law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, securities law.
Strong knowledge of procedural laws across multiple jurisdictions; familiarity with UCC law is a plus.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with document review is essential.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with document management systems like iManage.
Experience using PCLaw or similar legal case management software is preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish; ability to conduct client interviews effectively in both languages.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
Strong attention to detail in proofreading legal documents and managing data entry tasks.
Effective time management skills coupled with proactive project coordination abilities.
Knowledge of general & commercial litigation procedures; familiarity with legal drafting standards is advantageous.
Ability to adapt quickly to new legal software platforms or procedural updates as needed.
