Contract Operations Manager – Private School & Commercial Cleaning Accounts

Company: Miracle Maids Commercial Cleaning Services

Location: Montgomery County, MD & Washington, DC (on-site visits required)

Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (20–30 hours per week)

Founded in 1994, Miracle Maids has proudly served private schools, churches, and commercial clients across Montgomery County and Washington, DC for more than 30 years. We are known for responsive, professional service and long-term partnerships built on trust and consistency.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Contract) with a strong background in commercial cleaning, floor care, and cleaning products/procedures. This role will focus on client check-ins, employee oversight, and quality assurance to ensure Miracle Maids continues to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

Conduct weekly/bi-weekly site visits to check in with clients (school administrators, facilities managers, office contacts).

Oversee and support daytime and evening cleaning staff, providing coaching and accountability.

Perform quality inspections, with special attention to floor care standards (stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet care).

Ensure proper use of cleaning products, equipment, and procedures for safety and effectiveness.

Develop and implement a simple inspection reporting system to document site visits and send findings directly to the General Manager.

Serve as a liaison between clients, employees, and company leadership.

Reinforce Miracle Maids’ values of responsiveness, professionalism, and community support.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial cleaning management, with proven expertise in floor care and cleaning products/procedures.

Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Ability to coach and motivate employees.

Reliable transportation for site visits across Montgomery County and Washington, DC.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Background check required

Compensation

$25/hour

20–30 hours per week (flexible schedule)

Contract role with potential to expand into a larger position
