What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of enthusiastic staff members. This position offers a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills in the fast-food industry.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager position include:

Assist the Manager in all aspects of operating the restaurant
Lead the restaurant in the Manager’s absence
Make recommendations regarding the hiring and termination of employees
Attend meetings requested by the Manager
Develop restaurant operation skills and grow within the organization

What's Required for the Role

Be at least 18 years of age
POS (point of sale)/Computer skills required
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of restaurant experience
At least 6 months of prior supervisory experience in restaurant, retail, customer service focused, or equivalent
Be able to multi-task while maintaining composure, give and take direction, work well in a team environment, and have a strong service focus
Ability to work full time and a combination of days, nights, and weekends for a total of up to five days each week
Have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Bonuses and Compensation

Base salary will begin at $19.00 until ServSafe certification and Taco John's Certified Manager training is completed. In addition to this salary, bonuses and raises will also be provided based on the restaurant's performance.
