Join Our Team as a Guest Services Representative at Freight!

The Guest Services Team is at the heart of the guest experience. From welcoming guests at check-in to answering questions, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring every cabin is ready for arrival, you'll play an important role in creating memorable stays. If you're passionate about customer service and enjoy a job where every day is different, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do as a Guest Services Representative

As a Guest Services Representative, you'll be the first person our guests meet when they arrive at S. Lumber Yard. You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring daily hotel operations run smoothly. From checking guests in and answering questions to preparing for arrivals and supporting the front office, you'll help make every stay enjoyable from beginning to end.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude during check-in and throughout their stay.
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries related to the hotel, cabins, and property amenities.
Assist with reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing.
Perform quality control inspections of guest rooms before check-in to ensure they meet our cleanliness and presentation standards.
Complete office tasks such as printing, laminating, organizing paperwork, and maintaining guest records.
Use Google Workspace applications and hotel management software as part of daily operations.
Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure cabins are ready and guest requests are completed promptly.
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and provide solutions that create a positive guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and enjoys creating a great experience for every guest.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service, hospitality, hotel, or front desk experience is preferred (1+ year is a plus but not required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers, Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar), and willing to learn hotel management software.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a professional appearance.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as needed.
Passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
