Full Job Description

REED Next is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Coordinator to support our mission of delivering high-quality services to individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. This role is responsible for advancing organizational excellence through compliance monitoring, quality auditing, data analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives across our residential and day habilitation programs.

General Responsibilities:

The Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing organizational compliance and excellence through systematic monitoring, auditing, analysis, and reporting of regulatory compliance and service quality. The QI Coordinator role ensures adherence to New Jersey Division of Developmental Disability regulations, Medicaid standards, and organizational policies across residential and day habilitation programs.

Reporting to: Chief Clinical Officer

Schedule: Full-Time (9:00am-5:00pm) with availability for evenings

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain knowledge of NJDDD licensing standards, medicaid compliance requirements, organizational policies and procedures, and best practice guidelines in autism service delivery.
Conduct monthly compliance and quality audits of residential group homes, day habilitation programs, and related program sites.
Conduct and coordinate comprehensive mock licensing inspections/audits on a quarterly basis.
Coordinate and monitor corrective action plans.
Gather and maintain compliance and quality data to examine trends.
Identify compliance and quality gaps, areas of risk.
Generate visual reports and maintain a quality dashboard.
Communicate findings to program managers, directors, and leadership.
Collaborate with program managers, directors, and leadership to develop and implement improvement strategies.
Draft and maintain an annual continuous quality improvement plan,
Assist the Director of Development and Training by:
Serving as a trainer for pre-service training
Assessing training outcomes
Serving as a liaison between Development/Training and program managers
All other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Public Health )
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and oral are required.
Knowledge of quality assurance and/or quality improvement, auditing, risk identification, root cause analysis, systems analysis, and training.
5-6 years’ experience in health care or New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities Licensed Settings.
Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements such as criminal background checks, Central Registry and Child Abuse Registry screenings, and drug testing, etc as required by NJDDD regulations and REED Next policies

Pay: $25.00 per hour
