Maintenance/Millwright at Gerrity Industries
Join a team that keeps our mill running strong!

Gerrity Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance/Millwright to ensure our equipment operates at peak performance. If you thrive on solving problems, working with cutting-edge systems, and keeping downtime to a minimum, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment quickly and effectively, ensuring issues stay fixed for the long haul.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480V power, PLCs, VFDs, and sawmill components.
Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems with precision.
Use a wide range of tools—welders, pressure gauges, power tools, computers, and testing equipment—to get the job done.
Take ownership of machine maintenance, projects, and preventive maintenance (PMs) to keep our operations humming.
Collaborate with the team while working independently to meet deadlines and tackle additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a millwright or in industrial maintenance (sawmill experience is a plus!).
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, stay organized, and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Comfortable with flexible hours—typically Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekends or late nights to keep the mill running smoothly.
