Job description:
New Theatre & Restaurant is looking for candidates with excellent service and communication skills to join our dynamic team as Assistant Sales Manager. This leadership position is in the inbound call center, handling guest ticket reservations and assisting sales associates in problem-solving unique guest needs. When not in the call center, they will be supporting the Sales Department Manager. The Assistant Sales Manager will be cross trained to back up all other aspects of the Sales Department including Group Sales, Ticketing Operations and Box Office.
Ideal Candidates have the following qualities:
- Previous experience with AudienceView, or similar ticketing and reservation software.
- Exceptional computer skills; the ability to learn and proficiently navigate the reservation ticketing software; assist with configuring and maintaining the Audience View system.
- Ability to identify potential guest or system issues and resolve them quickly.
- Courtesy and patience when assisting guests or sales associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Cross trained to back up the Sales Department Manager, Box Office Manager, Group Sales Manager and Ticket Operations Manager as needed.
Assist with configuring and maintaining all aspects of AudienceView ticketing system.
Create guest reservations in inbound call center.
Assist with resolving guest reservation and other customer service-related issues.
Show preparation including Precheck and Updates reports
Ability to create new reports and run current reports within the AudienceView ticketing system as needed.
Sales Payment Journal preparation and auditing.
Entering Guest, No Show data into AudienceView.
Gift Certificate Sales and preparation.
Processing Season ticket Renewals and Season Ticket Holder’s Change Requests
Mail Processing
Gain knowledge and understanding of Groups department to assist in sales when needed
Assist with sending sales and marketing eblasts as needed.
Understanding all departmental reporting and have the ability to complete reporting as needed.
Building of season ticket renewals in the AudienceView system.
Training new sales employees.
All duties of a Sales Associate.
All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Occasional supervisory responsibilities for the Sales Associate Team in the absence of Sales Department Manager or Box Office Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or higher.
- AudienceView experience preferred.
- Prior experience in inbound call centers. Supervisor experience is a plus.
- Exceptional Computer systems skills. Prior experience configuring and maintaining ticketing/reservation software preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively to customers and fellow employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Prior experience with AudienceView Ticketing System helpful. Detail oriented, highly motivated, well-organized, and problem-solving ability are prime skills necessary for successful achievement in this position.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
