Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Training Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs across our retail operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive employee growth, enhance team performance, and ensure that staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and oversee training programs tailored to various retail roles, including sales, management, and operational staff.
Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, ensuring smooth integration into the team and understanding of company policies.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback collection, and performance metrics to refine programs continuously.
Collaborate with store managers and department heads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
Lead training sessions on key topics such as POS systems, inventory management, merchandising, customer service excellence, and sales techniques.
Manage scheduling of training sessions to accommodate store operations while maximizing participation.
Maintain detailed training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or sales team leadership with a strong background in employee training & development.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of retail industry sales practices, inventory control, POS systems, merchandising, and operational management.
Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to conduct interviews, facilitate group sessions, and provide constructive feedback effectively.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging a diverse workforce.
Familiarity with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to staff management.
Basic math skills for handling retail math calculations related to pricing, sales targets, and inventory assessments.
Proficiency in using various POS systems and retail management software is preferred.
