Job Summary
Florida Aqua Group is hiring a Commercial Pool Field Service Technician to join our growing team.
We are a commercial pool service and water management company specializing in commercial pool maintenance, water chemistry, equipment rooms, chemical feed systems, ORP/pH controllers, and compliance-focused aquatic operations.
This is a field-based position servicing commercial properties throughout Central Florida, including apartment communities, HOAs, resorts, fitness centers, and other high-traffic aquatic facilities.
We are looking for a dependable, professional, and mechanically inclined team member who can take ownership of a service route, communicate clearly, work independently, and represent the company professionally on-site.

Responsibilities
- Perform commercial pool cleaning and maintenance
- Test and adjust pool water chemistry
- Vacuum, skim, brush, and maintain pool/spa facilities
- Inspect pumps, filters, valves, chemical controllers, and circulation systems
- Work around ORP/pH controllers, chemical feed systems, and commercial equipment rooms
- Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, leaks, or service problems
- Complete digital service reports with photos and notes
- Safely handle and transport pool chemicals, including chlorine and muriatic acid
- Clean filters and maintain equipment areas
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch expectations
- Communicate professionally with property managers, staff, residents, and guests
- Maintain a neat, organized, and professional appearance while on-site
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- No points on driver’s license preferred/required for company vehicle eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of outdoor work experience in Florida weather preferred
- Service route experience preferred
- Ability to arrive to work on time and ready to begin the scheduled route
- Reliable attendance required; no-call/no-show behavior is not acceptable
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, rain, and year-round Florida conditions
- Comfortable working in commercial pool equipment rooms around pumps, motors, valves, filters, controllers, chemical tanks, and electrical equipment
- Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app for reports, photos, route updates, and communication
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful under pressure
- Stable work history preferred
- Must be looking for long-term employment, not short-term or temporary work

Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial or residential pool service experience
- CPO Certification preferred
- Experience with sand, cartridge, and DE filter systems
- Experience with ORP/pH controllers, chemical feed systems, or commercial pool automation
- Basic plumbing or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Previous commercial property, hospitality, facility maintenance, landscaping, construction, or field service experience
Paid CPO Training
CPO Certification is preferred, but not required to apply.
For qualified team members who do not currently have a CPO Certification, Florida Aqua Group will cover the cost of approved CPO training and certification at no cost to the employee.
Work Environment
This is an active field position requiring daily travel to commercial properties throughout Central Florida.
Technicians regularly work in high-visibility environments where residents, guests, property managers, and staff may be present. Professional appearance, personal grooming, cleanliness, respectful communication, and calm behavior under pressure are extremely important.
This position may involve working under pressure due to route timing, weather conditions, equipment problems, urgent service needs, or direct interaction with property staff, residents, and guests. Team members are expected to stay calm, communicate clearly, and maintain professionalism at all times.

Team members must understand that they are representing Florida Aqua Group while on-site. Professional conduct, respectful communication, and good judgment are required at all times.
Compensation
Pay range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience, reliability, certifications, work ethic, driving record, and technical ability.
Pay Scale Guide
Trainee / Entry-Level Field Technician: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
For candidates with the right attitude, clean driving record, outdoor work experience, and willingness to learn.
Experienced Field Service Technician: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
For candidates with pool service, route experience, strong attendance, customer-facing professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Commercial Pool Technician / CPO Technician: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
For candidates with commercial pool experience, CPO Certification, chemical knowledge, filter system experience, equipment room awareness, ORP/pH controller experience, and strong route ownership.
Lead Technician / Automation-Capable Technician: $27.00+ per hour
Higher pay may be available for technicians who can troubleshoot commercial equipment, chemical feed systems, ORP/pH controllers, pumps, plumbing issues, and help train or support other team members.
