Position Summary:
Reef is seeking a customer service-oriented, motivated and tech-savvy IT Helpdesk Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in a technology related field, seeking applicable experience to apply their education in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Helpdesk Manager in their responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

Ticket Management: Triage, resolve, and escalate support tickets within defined SLAs, ensuring KPIs are met, across both Windows and Mac OS environments.

User, Software, Device Management: Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, provisioning software & hardware, maintaining MDM systems, actioning access control change requests, auditing technology costs.

Software & Admin Support: Support the administration of various software platforms, helping ensure proper security, functionality, and availability. Assist with audits to reduce unnecessary costs and maintain accurate licensing records.

Hardware & Equipment Support: Help maintain IT-related equipment, supporting optimal functionality and inventory tracking across Lehi and Park City offices.

Training & Documentation: Help create and maintain documentation for software and hardware, and assist with training staff on company systems as needed.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in IT processes, with the opportunity to learn and apply artificial intelligence and scripting for automating tasks.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or related fields.

Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems.

Basic understanding of security best practices.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.

Ability to primarily work on site at the Lehi office and reliably commute to our Park City satellite offices once a week (Mileage will be reimbursed).

Ability to work between up to full-time hours during the summer and part-time hours during the school year with flexibility based on educational activities
