About Mountain West Industrial
Mountain West Industrial (MWI) is hiring experienced Ironworkers / Red Iron Workers for a long-term project in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
MWI specializes in structural steel and red iron erection, ironwork, mechanical construction, pipe work, and industrial construction, with projects throughout the United States.

Job Responsibilities
- Erect and install structural steel and red iron
- Install beams, columns, joists, decking, stairs, handrails, and other structural components
- Bolt, connect, align, and secure structural steel according to drawings and specifications
- Perform rigging and material handling associated with steel erection
- Work with cranes, lifts, and other construction equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and erection plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, and ironworking equipment safely
- Work as part of a crew to meet production schedules and project deadlines
- Maintain quality workmanship throughout the project
- Follow all company and project safety requirements
- Participate in toolbox talks, JSA/JHA meetings, and pre-task planning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Ironworker / Red Iron Worker / Structural Steel Erector
- Experience with structural steel erection preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and structural drawings
- Experience with rigging and connecting structural steel
- Ability to safely work at heights
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Commitment to safety and quality
- OSHA/MSHA experience is a plus
- Must be able to perform physically demanding construction work
