Full Job Description

Our Opportunity:

We are a growing, employee-oriented, fast-paced organization looking for a part time or full time experienced Optical team member who is a motivated and energetic individual. He or she must be passionate about representing an innovative, multi location optical/medical service-oriented practice.

Employee skills/traits:

Applicant must be a team player, multi-tasker, disciplined, with strong customer service traits for our fast-paced environment. Ability to work between locations if needed is important. Experience in a medical office is a plus, but we will train most AVC-specific job details. We are looking for a background including; Frame Selection/Filling optical prescriptions, dispensing and repair of glasses, and a base contact lens knowledge. You will be asked to participate as a team member, answering phones, assisting with patient testing, administration, and quality assurance. Pay range listed is a range based on experience and ability to learn. Actual pay will be based on any past experience in optometric, ophthalmologic, management experience, or medical office duties.

Job Purpose:

Improve patient's vision by following doctors' recommendations, uncovering/determining individual patient needs, filling ophthalmic prescriptions, and establishing relationships with patients while finding solutions for their unique eyecare needs.

Computer skills necessary; experience with online vision insurance software is preferred. We will train on our specific program.
