What You'll Be Doing:

Set up and operate 3-, 4- and/or 5-axis CNC machines
Machine complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components
Troubleshoot tooling, feeds and speeds, chatter, tool wear, workholding, dimensional and machining issues
Machine titanium and other hard metals
Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
Select and adjust tooling, offsets, fixtures and workholding
Inspect your work using micrometers, calipers, indicators and other precision measuring tools
Work with Programming, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to solve machining problems
Help improve cycle times, tool life, first-pass yield and overall machining performance

What We're Looking For:

Hands-on CNC machining and setup experience
Experience with 3-, 4- or 5-axis CNC machining
Strong CNC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience machining hard metals; titanium strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions, feeds and speeds, fixtures and workholding
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
Experience with precision measuring equipment
Aerospace machining experience preferred

This is a hands-on machining role—not a CNC programming position. We're looking for machinists who understand what is happening at the machine and can help solve problems when a difficult job isn't running correctly.

This position involves access to information or technology subject to ITAR regulations. Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum/refugee status) will be considered. Proof of U.S. Person status is required prior to employment.
