Full Job Description

The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for sourcing and vetting carrier services, while always focusing on growing long-term relationships with Carriers. And the best thing is, there is plenty of room for advancement. Role & Responsibility

Build long standing relationships with new and existing, carriers and co-workers to support our customer needs
Continual sourcing of new carrier partners and existing underutilized carrier partners
Accountable for tracking and tracing all pickups and deliveries
Resolving service issues while working with management team
Strong negotiation skills to help minimize our transportation spend
Assist & support other departments as needed

Skills & Ability

Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
Understanding urgency and time critical operations to support the needs of the business
Highly motivated (driven to succeed), competitive, personable and outgoing
Must possess strong communication, decision making, time management, presentation, sales and negotiation skills
Good problem-solving skills and ability to research solutions to difficult issues
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
Ability to work as an individual while also supporting, and being supported by, a team
Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
