Full Job Description

Community First National Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated, experienced Loan Closer/Post Closer to join our LPO Mortgage Division. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, preparing accurate closing figures, reviewing files for funding authorization, and loading final packages to the investor for purchase. Key Responsibilities

Review title commitments, lock confirmations, approval sheets, and loan documents for accuracy and compliance in accordance with our Quality Assurance checklist
Ensure all critical dates within pipeline are met, including but not limited to closing dates and lock expiration dates
Balance fees and ensure fee compliance
Ensure Accuracy of tax/insurance information and data entry
Clear closing and funding conditions
Prepare closing figures and review/approve Closing Disclosures from title companies to ensure accuracy and provide closing packages to title for borrower signature
Conduct timely review of closed loan packages to verify accuracy, completeness, and readiness for funding and provide funding number to title
Load closed packages to investor using investor site and Investor Connect
Review and provide any requested post-closing items
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Closer and/or Mortgage Post closer (required).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Strong sense of urgency, follow‑through, and responsiveness.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective time‑management skills.
Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System (preferred).

Work Location: Remote in Kansas City Area

This position will be work from home, however, you must be able to commute to Lenexa, KS for initial training and onboarding, as well as quarterly for meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
