The company operates five material facilities globally, offering extensive capabilities such as extrusion, lamination, metallization, coating, packaging, and converting. The Griff Network is dedicated to customer satisfaction through quality products and expert services, continually developing new patented products to meet evolving needs.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily administration and execution of Human Resources programs across The Griff Network. This position works closely with the Human Resources Manager and company leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS administration, benefits communication, compliance, employee documentation, and other HR initiatives.

The Human Resources Coordinator serves as an important point of contact for candidates, new hires, employees, supervisors, and managers. The successful candidate will be highly organized, responsive, confidential, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle recruiting support for hourly and professional positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, phone screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer preparation.
Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, identify qualified candidates, and maintain an active recruiting pipeline for open positions.
Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including offer documentation, background screening, HRIS onboarding, Form I-9 requirements, orientation materials, start dates, and communication with supervisors.
Maintain accurate employee information, personnel documentation, organizational updates, and employment records within the HRIS and confidential employee files.
Provide day-to-day support to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, attendance, PTO, benefits, workplace expectations, employee documentation, and general Human Resources questions.
Assist the Human Resources Manager with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting conversations, preparing written communications, and maintaining accurate records of workplace concerns and corrective actions.
Support company compliance activities, including employment documentation, Form I-9 compliance, policy acknowledgments, required notices, workplace safety documentation, and other federal, state, and company requirements.
Coordinate workers’ compensation documentation and communication by maintaining injury records, communicating with employees and supervisors, and assisting with carrier and return-to-work documentation.
Assist with employee benefits administration and communication, including enrollment information, eligibility questions, employee resources, and coordination with benefits and payroll partners.
Prepare professional HR communications, company announcements, employment letters, policy notices, onboarding materials, job descriptions, and other internal and external correspondence.
Support attendance, compensation, performance review, employee status change, and payroll-related processes by coordinating documentation and communicating necessary updates with employees, supervisors, and appropriate internal partners.
Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, recruiting processes, onboarding practices, documentation standards, and employee resources while supporting additional Human Resources projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, office operations, or related professional experience preferred.
Experience supporting recruiting activities such as sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, or preparing employment offers.
Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, payroll systems, or other employee management platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with candidates, employees, supervisors, managers, and external partners.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions, employee matters, deadlines, and administrative priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated attention to detail when preparing employment documents, maintaining employee records, entering HRIS information, and handling compliance-related documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling employee information, compensation data, workplace concerns, and other sensitive matters.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and regularly interacting with employees and leaders across multiple departments and facilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn HRIS, recruiting, payroll, and other Human Resources technology platforms.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to operate a computer, and other standard office equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and carry files or other light office materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
