Mountain Media owns and operates 16 community newspapers throughout West Virginia and southern Virginia. We have a dedicated staff that value their role in providing quality Journalism for their communities.

Summary

We have an opening for a part time clerical position working in our downtown Lewisburg office. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team at Mountain Media, LLC. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate data management, communicating with customers via email and phone and supporting our publishing operations, where you will contribute to our mission of delivering quality content to our community.

Responsibilities

Enter and update data accurately into databases and systems.
Transcribe information from various sources while ensuring precision.
Organize and maintain data files for easy retrieval and reporting.
Assist with data collection efforts.
Perform clerical tasks as needed to support the publishing team.
Utilize excel spreadsheets for data analysis when required.

Requirements

Proven experience in data entry or a similar clerical role.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with databases and data management systems is essential.
Basic math skills to assist with data verification processes.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
