Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Entry Level Machinist/Fabricator and kick-start your career in precision plasticworking and fabrication! This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in manual machining, specsheet reading, plastic fabrication and assembly while working with proprietary equipment. You will be integral to producing high-quality components, supporting manufacturing processes, and ensuring that products meet strict quality standards. No prior experience is necessary—just a good attitude, abiliry to work well with others and a desire to learn! We are committed to providing paid training and growth opportunities to help you succeed in this energetic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and operating milling machines such as table saws and milling machines
Perform manual machining tasks using hand tools, routers, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement instruments
Read and interpret mechanical spec sheets and drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
Support machine setup by selecting appropriate tooling, measuring workpieces, and verifying dimensions with precision measurement tools
Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes to ensure parts meet specifications using measurement instruments and visual checks
Assist with thermo bending, assembly, and fabrication tasks as needed to complete projects efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including light lifting and use of power tools

Experience

Basic understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes; previous experience in machining or fabrication is a plus but not necessary
Training will be provided
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances required for precise machining
Willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, routers, or table saw is beneficial
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow manufacturing guidelines diligently
