Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, enhancing customer satisfaction, and assisting with grant writing efforts. This position requires a blend of leadership, communication, writing, and organizational skills to maintain an efficient and dynamic office atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative tasks and front desk duties.
Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Oversee calendar management, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for staff members.
Maintain accurate records and documentation through effective proofreading and clerical work.
Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized for both staff and visitors.
Assist in onboarding new employees by providing necessary training on office procedures.
Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance productivity.
Support the organization's fundraising efforts by assisting in grant research, writing, editing, and submission of grant applications and reports.
Utilize computer literacy to manage various software applications for documentation, communication, and grant tracking.

Skills

Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer support and grant writing.
Proficiency in calendar management to efficiently coordinate schedules.
Attention to detail for accurate proofreading of documents and grant applications.
Familiarity with clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Grant writing experience is highly desirable.
Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus but not required.
Strong computer literacy with knowledge of office software applications.
