The City of Lewiston is seeking a motivated and organized professional to administer its HUD Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program. This position oversees grant-funded residential rehabilitation projects from start to finish, including grant administration, contractor coordination, budgeting, regulatory compliance, federal reporting, and collaboration with homeowners, contractors, and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) in Public Administration, Community Development, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Applied Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with grant administration, community development, public policy, residential rehabilitation, or federally funded programs is highly desirable. A valid State of Maine driver's license is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, non-union, grant-funded temporary position funded through the City's 2025–2028 HUD Lead Hazard Reduction Grant. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding.
