Peachtree Entertainment is seeking an experienced Director of Private Events to lead private event sales, business development, and revenue growth.
This is a high-impact sales role for an experienced private events professional who knows how to prospect, build relationships, close business, and consistently generate revenue.
A minimum of 2 years of professional private event sales experience is required.
You will own the private event sales process from initial inquiry through signed contract and deposit, while building long-term relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and new opportunities.

Compensation & Earning Potential
- Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000, based on experience
- Target Total Compensation: $105,000–$130,000+
- Monthly commission opportunities
- Quarterly performance bonuses

Commission Structure
Commissions are calculated on venue revenue generated from fully executed contracts with deposits received:
- First $50,000 in monthly venue revenue: 2%
- $50,001–$100,000: 3%
- Over $100,000: 4%
Quarterly Performance Bonuses
Additional bonuses are available based on quarterly sales goal attainment:
- 90% of quarterly goal: $2,500
- 100% of quarterly goal: $5,000
- 110% of quarterly goal: $7,500
- 120%+ of quarterly goal: $10,000
Annual Performance Bonuses
Top performers who exceed annual sales goals are eligible for additional bonuses:
- Meets annual goal: $10,000
- 110% of goal: $20,000
- 125% of goal: $35,000
- Exceptional performance: Additional discretionary bonus opportunities
What You'll Do Private Event Sales & Business Development
- Own the private events sales strategy and revenue plan.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution and deposit collection.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified private event prospects.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and community relationships.
- Sell corporate events, weddings, private parties, nonprofit events, celebrations, and other private functions.
- Conduct venue tours, client meetings, presentations, proposals, and follow-up.
- Negotiate contracts and confidently close business.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding professionals, local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and other potential partners.
- Develop referral relationships and strategic partnerships that generate new business.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up throughout the sales process.
- Create a client experience that encourages repeat business and referrals.
- Represent Peachtree Entertainment professionally throughout the community and industry.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities.
- Develop creative sales strategies and promotions to increase private event bookings.
- Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, pipeline health, and revenue performance.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales records.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
- Use market knowledge and sales data to identify opportunities for continued growth.
Event & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, hospitality, production, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from signed contract to event execution.
- Communicate client expectations, event details, and contractual requirements effectively.
- Support the client experience throughout the planning process while maintaining clear boundaries between sales and event execution.
- Attend select events, networking functions, and community activities to build relationships and promote private event opportunities.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional private event sales experience is required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or revenue goals.
- Experience managing the full private event sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through contract execution and deposit collection.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect for new business and develop a consistent sales pipeline.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects, proposals, contracts, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling private events for a venue, hotel, entertainment company, hospitality group, or similar organization.
- Experience selling corporate events, weddings, social events, nonprofit events, or large-scale private functions.
- Established relationships within the corporate, wedding, hospitality, nonprofit, or local business community.
- Experience working with CRM and sales reporting systems.
- Experience managing high-value contracts and complex event sales.
- Knowledge of the local market and business community.
