Full Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow)

Location: Georgetown, KY

Job Type: Part-Time (Potential for Growth)

Schedule: After-school and evening availability required. Hours are flexible based on clinician availability and client scheduling.

About Us

Kentucky Language & Literacy Center is a private practice dedicated to helping children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other language-based literacy disorders. Our clinic specializes in evidence-based assessment and intervention that integrates spoken and written language to help children become confident readers, writers, and communicators.

We are passionate about providing individualized, high-quality services while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team.

Position Overview

This position primarily serves school-aged children after school, so availability during after-school hours is essential.

Whether you are an experienced clinician or a strong Clinical Fellow eager to specialize in literacy, we would love to hear from you. We value clinicians who are curious, motivated to learn, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, language disorders, and related literacy challenges
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
Provide engaging, one-on-one intervention sessions
Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and home practice
Complete documentation in a timely manner
Collaborate with other professionals as appropriate
Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

QualificationsRequired

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Eligibility for Kentucky licensure
Eligibility for ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Passion for working with children and families

Preferred

Experience working with school-aged children
Interest in literacy, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and written language disorders
Experience with pediatric language or literacy intervention

Training & Mentorship

Experience treating dyslexia is not required.
