Production Batching Operator, Thomasville, NC

Starting Pay: $21.00

Available Shift: 1st Shift, 3:30am – 11:30am, Monday - Friday

As a Production Batching Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

Learn about the raw materials needed used in batch making process
Setting up, mixing, and/or delivering production chemicals used in manufacturing or process areas where accuracy of chemical composition is important in process operation.
Add raw and verify materials to kettles
Add and verify oil weigh-up
Properly perform scrapping of kettle
Properly verify pigment
Operate forklift as needed
Stage rework

Qualifications

Positive attitude
Ability to work with limited supervision
Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred
Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes
Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
