POSITION SUMMARY
Report to: Product Development Manager Region: Lexington, TN
Travel: None Location: Lexington Facility

PURPOSE
At Falcon Plastics, quality isn't something we inspect into a product, it's something we engineer into every
process. The Quality Engineer ensures our manufacturing systems consistently produce products our
customers can trust. You will partner with engineering, production, customers, and suppliers to develop
robust quality systems that ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations and industry
standards. You’ll solve problems, improve processes, reduce risk, and help launch new programs with
confidence while strengthening our culture of continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead quality planning activities for new product launches, including PPAPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans,
inspection methods, and validation documentation.
Partner with Production, Tooling, and Operations to identify risks early and implement practical solutions
Analyze quality data using SPC and other statistical tools to identify trends, reduce variation, and improve
process capability
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure products can be
manufactured consistently
Communicate quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leaders and cross-functional
teams
Develop programming for CMM
Assist ISO9001
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement principles
Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Action
methodologies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirements
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems using data
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and operational teams
Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with CMM programming

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Location. This position is onsite and will work from our Lexington, TN facility.
