Job Summary

Use Data and Strategic Planning to Support Student Success

The University of Kentucky is seeking an Academic Coordinator/Data Analyst to join the College of Arts & Sciences Academic Scheduling team.

This position plays a vital role in academic planning, course scheduling, enrollment management, and data analysis. The successful candidate will help ensure students have access to the courses they need while providing data-driven insights that support academic departments, enrollment planning, and college-wide decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Audit, maintain, and update course schedules within the university’s SAP scheduling system
Coordinate course scheduling activities and assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and discrepancies
Support course changes, instructor assignments, and approval workflows
Analyze enrollment trends and prepare reports using Tableau, Excel, and other institutional tools
Develop data-informed recommendations that support course planning, instructional capacity, and student success initiatives
Monitor enrollment activity and assist with strategic enrollment planning efforts
Support registration processes, course placement activities, and approved registration overrides
Collaborate with academic departments, college leadership, and university partners to support scheduling and enrollment objectives

Experience working with data, reporting tools, and large datasets
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures consistently
Experience with SAP, Tableau, Excel, or similar systems is beneficial

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree
1 year of related experience
