Chief Administrative Officer

The practice presently includes 6 locations in Lexington, Georgetown and Louisville in the beautiful bluegrass Kentucky horse country, home of the Kentucky Derby! The CAO will be expected to travel to the other locations as needed.

These communities are known for their beauty, outstanding restaurants, culture, recreation, shopping, and highly rated schools. The cost of living in Lexington, KY is 7.2% lower than the national average. The cost of living in Louisville is 9.4% lower than the national average.

This position reports directly to the physician owner, Dr. Mullins, CEO, and is the top executive position.

This medical group specializes in exceptional concierge and lifestyle medicine.

Key features include:

· Extended Access: Patients usually have direct access to their doctors through phone, email, or text, often including after-hours.

· Longer Appointments: Appointments tend to be longer, allowing for more in-depth consultations

· Preventative Care: Emphasis on preventative care and wellness.

· Limited Patient Load: Physicians typically limit the number of patients they see, enabling more time and attention for each patient.

· Enhanced Services: May include comprehensive annual physicals, same-day or next-day appointments, and coordination of specialist referrals.

The practice currently has 4 physicians, 4 APPs, 6 RNS, 3 aestheticians, 1 Exercise physiologist and 1 Certified Personal Trainer. The Physicians and Providers are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art medical and lifestyle care to our patients.

Overall responsibilities are to oversee finances; contracting with leases, new locations, and vendors; explore, analyze and recommend new business opportunities to diversify revenue streams; maintain and grow the patient base; cost/benefit analysis of equipment purchases; compliance; oversee clinical operations; and Human Resources.

Skills Desired: Executive analytical skills, honesty and integrity, complex problem-solving, leadership and systems-based thinking are critical to this role. The Candidate must be energetic, innovative, and be a progressive thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Specific skills include:

- Financial analysis/cost benefit analysis with well researched facts.

- Expertise in both clinical and non-clinical operations.

- Ability to manage and motivate staff while delivering superlative customer service.

- Negotiation skills.

- Ability to listen and communicate effectively and persuasively with physicians and staff.

- Ability to recruit and retain quality employees.

- Assistance with physician and APP recruitment

- Aesthetic product sales management

- Accounting/finance knowledge is desired.

- EMR knowledge essential

- Multi-tasking and strong organization skills required.

- MBA is a plus.

- Concierge medicine experience is also a plus, but not mandatory.

Requirements: At least directly reporting to physicians. Please do not apply if you do not have healthcare management experience.

Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with experience, i.e., 180 -220K. Excellent benefits including 401K with profit sharing.
