Education and Certifications / Licenses: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program required. Based upon EKPC's business needs, a specific discipline may be determined. Civil Engineering degree is preferred.
Experience: No experience required.

- Experience in technical writing in an engineering field preferred.
- Previous power systems education preferred.
- Obtains FAA Part 107 license.
- Demonstrates creativity and logical thinking when working on specific objectives to engineer solutions.
LEVEL 2

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience.

- Experience in technical writing in an engineering field preferred. Experience in the development of technical specification documents for common substation and transmission line accessories and auxiliary equipment preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to make responsible decisions in all areas.
- Demonstrates ability to read and interpret equipment and system manuals, engineering drawings, and schematic or system one-line diagrams.
- Obtains FAA Part 107 license.
- Demonstrates creativity and logical thinking when working on specific objectives and complex features to engineer solutions.
LEVEL 3

- -Registered Professional Engineering license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky preferred.
Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible engineering work experience required.
