Full Job Description

Job Overview

K12 Computers is looking for a detail-oriented Audit Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will inspect, test, and document incoming technology to help determine each device’s next step, whether that is refurbishment, resale, reuse, or responsible recycling.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, staying organized, and being part of a team. Prior IT experience is helpful but not required — we provide training for candidates who are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Inspect laptops, tablets, and other devices for condition and functionality
Test basic device features including screens, keyboards, cameras, ports, and other components
Record device information such as serial numbers, models, and specifications
Evaluate and grade devices using established company guidelines
Accurately enter audit results into internal systems
Work with team members to ensure devices are securely processed and prepared for their next use
Organize, label, and sort devices based on condition and category
Identify devices that require additional review or repair
Follow company procedures for quality, safety, and data security

Previous experience with computers, inventory, quality control, data entry, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required
