Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Package Handler and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, loading, unloading, and organizing packages to ensure smooth distribution processes. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. This paid position offers an engaging environment where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are at the forefront of everything we do.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
Safely operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, order pickers, and material handling tools to accurately process inventory.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy with basic math skills and inventory management protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by properly stacking pallets and materials according to safety standards.
Follow all safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing packages against documentation.
Support warehouse supervisors in inventory control tasks and participate in regular safety audits.

Requirements

Previous experience in warehouse distribution or related logistics environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, and pallet jacks safely.
Knowledge of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate tracking of stock.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills.
