Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will act as the primary technical authority for Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming, validation, and process refinement. You will bridge the gap between engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to create measurement solutions that guarantee product integrity while fostering continuous operational improvements.
You will be tasked with leading significant projects, resolving intricate technical hurdles, and contributing to the creation of sophisticated engineered products within the energy sector.
Core Responsibilities-
Develop, maintain, verify, and refine CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS

Ensure all part programming aligns with engineering specifications and established Product Quality Plans

Leverage Siemens NX 2206/2412 to adjust models and facilitate CMM programming tasks

Execute CMM program prove-outs to confirm measurement precision and data accuracy

Configure, troubleshoot, and validate CMM hardware and software systems

Provide technical guidance to Manufacturing Engineers while training operators on CMM best practices to improve team proficiency

Offer daily shop floor assistance to resolve measurement and programming challenges as they arise

Create and maintain workstation documentation and standardized procedures for CMM operations

Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes for the facility

Partner with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement efforts

Present technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to key stakeholders

Support a dynamic manufacturing environment while helping to foster positive organizational growth
Required Qualifications-
Minimum 3+ years of offline PC-DMIS programming experience

Demonstrated success in generating, validating, and optimizing CMM programs within a manufacturing setting

Strong ability to troubleshoot CMM hardware, software, and programming issues

Experience proving out CMM programs and verifying measurement results to maintain high quality standards

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrixed organization

Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications-
Experience with Siemens NX 2206/2412

Experience leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies

Prior experience supporting high-volume or complex manufacturing operations
