Position Overview
At Vita Chiropractic, we are looking for a high-energy, growth-minded Chiropractic Assistant who is passionate about people, health, communication, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
This is not a typical front desk or receptionist role.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment and enjoys both patient interaction, hands-on clinical support, and working hard as a team. The ideal candidate can confidently connect with patients, help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, support clinical flow, and contribute to the overall mission and growth of the practice.
You will play an essential role in both the front office and clinical side of the practice — helping guide patients through their care journey while ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Front Office Excellence
- Create an exceptional first impression and welcoming environment for every patient entering the office.
- Build genuine relationships with patients and help foster a positive, energetic atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment coordination.
- Answer phones confidently and professionally while helping patients navigate care recommendations and scheduling/rescheduling needs.
- Maintain strong communication with patients regarding appointments, progress exams, financial arrangements, and ongoing care plans.
- Support patient retention through connection, consistency, education, and service excellence.
- Assist with patient follow-up communication and help maintain a high level of patient engagement.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, professional, and patient-ready at all times.
Clinical Support & Patient Education
- Guide new patients through consultations, exams, X-rays, and care plan discussions.
- Assist with progress exams, questionnaires, and supportive patient education.
- Educate patients on spinal health, posture, nervous system function, and wellness care principles. (training provided)
- Assist chiropractors with Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 patient flow and support conversations surrounding care recommendations.
- Reinforce patient understanding and confidence in their care plans.
- Support clinical flow to ensure an efficient, organized, and elevated patient experience.
Technology & Equipment Operation
Operate chiropractic technology and wellness equipment including:
- Spinal scanning systems (thermal, HRV, and EMG scans)
- StemWave (Shockwave) Therapy
- Digital X-ray systems
- EHR software
- Assist with technology troubleshooting and coordination of equipment maintenance when necessary.
Team Contribution & Growth
- Work collaboratively with doctors and other team members to improve patient experience, office systems, and clinic growth.
- Participate in internal marketing initiatives, workshops, events, and patient referral efforts.
- Help maintain an energetic, solution-oriented, and team-focused culture.
- Be willing to learn, adapt, and grow within a rapidly growing chiropractic office.
- Support various operational and administrative needs as the clinic continues expanding.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn clinical systems and equipment.
- Previous experience in chiropractic, healthcare, fitness, wellness, hospitality, sales, customer service, or patient care environments is preferred.
- Passion for health, wellness, personal growth, and helping people.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Preferred Certifications (or Willingness to Obtain)
- X-Ray Technician Certification (if applicable or required)
Work Schedule – Approximately 33–38 Hours Per Week
Monday: 9:00am – 1:00pm; 2:45pm – 6:30pm
Tuesday: 11:45am – 6:20-6:30pm (Break after training- Office Hours begin at 3pm)
Wednesday: 9:00am – 1:00pm; 2:45pm – 5:30pm
Thursday: 7:45am – 12:00pm; 1:30pm – 6:30pm
Friday: 7:45am-11:00am (these hours are not added yet but will be added soon, until these hours are added they will be later in the morning for training purposes)
Time over lunch or Tuesday morning may be taken to work on any projects or paperwork if needed. We do conduct team meetings on Mondays at the beginning of the extended lunch period.

Compensation
- $20-$23/hour based on experience, qualifications, and Kansas City market rates.
