The Mammography & X-Ray Technologist performs high-quality imaging examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a professional outpatient setting.
This position may include Mammography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA imaging responsibilities depending on experience and credentials. Candidates who are currently certified in Diagnostic Radiography and interested in cross-training into Mammography are encouraged to apply.
We are also open to candidates who prefer to work exclusively in Diagnostic X-Ray.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical skills, excellent patient care, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning.
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiography examinations according to physician orders and DIC protocols

Perform mammography examinations in compliance with MQSA regulations and DIC standards, if certified

Assist with fluoroscopy procedures and patient preparation as needed

Perform DEXA examinations and maintain quality standards

Verify patient history and ensure appropriate exam documentation

Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards

Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations

Maintain equipment functionality and assist with quality assurance activities

Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the imaging process

Required Credentials:

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
-
Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist, if working in a Kansas clinic

ARRT Mammography Registry preferred

Competency in mammography positioning and quality control standards
