FlexTrades is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a traveling contract assignment supporting high-precision machining operations. This role is ideal for a skilled programmer with Mastercam experience who enjoys developing and optimizing CNC programs, solving machining challenges, and working in advanced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam from engineering drawings, models, and blueprints.
- Develop new CNC programs for complex machined components.
- Optimize existing programs to improve cycle times, quality, and tool life.
- Create setup sheets, tooling lists, and process documentation.
- Simulate and verify programs using Vericut.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists on tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
- Support production teams during program implementation and troubleshooting.
- Recommend machining and process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment.
- Advanced experience with Mastercam programming.
- Experience programming 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and G & M code.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, including position, runout, flatness, perpendicularity, parallelism, and profile tolerances.
- Experience machining aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and other high-performance alloys.
- Experience creating setup sheets and tooling documentation.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances up to .0002"-.0003".
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $48/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
